The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions to your community.
SASSA will likely be rendering providers such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency reported it is alarmed with regard to the high variety of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your significant amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This can be due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office committed to service the area on a daily basis. The assistance stage designed SRD for intervention encounters a significant inflow of prospective beneficiaries, that makes it complicated for your office to attend to all people who pay a visit SRD to a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more sassa resources to help the servicing of all prospects and maximize use of Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
